Studio Wildcard announced today that ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition is coming to the Nintendo Switch with hundreds of hours of content including ARK: Survival Evolved and all its massive Expansion Packs Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, and Genesis Parts 1 & 2. The new content and enhanced version won’t be available until September 2022 though, so fans need to wait a bit. Those who own the base game on the Switch will receive the update for free and there will also be some attractive content-complete bundles set to launch as well. Studio Wildcard contracted another studio to revamp the ARK Nintendo Switch experience and rework it to run on Unreal Engine 4 - which is probably not a small task at all. As we patiently await the release of ARK: The Animated Series and ARK II, Studio Wildcard still has more platforms to release another update of the original ARK: Survival Evolved onto.
